We have invested in the finest milling equipment and it would be simply wasteful to use lesser quality materials.
We use only the highest grade of finger-joint EASTERN WHITE PINE. We also have available an array of stain-grade materials.

Our stock house columns include sizes of 6”,8” and 10” up to 12’ long which are non-tapered.
Shafts of bigger and longer dimensions and also columns that taper to architectural proportions
are special order.

Our columns are made up of only the highest grade of type-1 water proof glue. During the
Clamping process each clamp is hand torqued and left in place for a full 16 hours.

Each of our products is hand sanded and thoroughly inspected to ensure that each column
surpasses your expectations and giving you that hand crafted look.

Our columns are made from tongue and groove staves to ensure a stronger and more proper
fit.

We are always adaptable to your specifications and are capable of producing almost anything.

Tapered

Available in both fluted or plain shafts, columns are
tapered to architectural proportions.
Columns come standard with tuscan cap and base set.
A vast selection in sizes from 8”x6’ to 30”x24’.
Columns are load bearing up to 24,000 lbs.
Columns are fairly light weight easy to install and are paintable.
Columns are virtually maintenance free and are impervious to our harsh elements.
We are so confident in our tapered fiberglass columns that we back it with a
limited lifetime warranty.

Non-Tapered

Available in both round or square, plain or fluted and comes standard with a tuscan style cap and base. Also, columns are of a non-tapered nature.
Constructed of re-inforced fiberglass polymer, columns are load bearing on
their own and are capable of carrying up to 10,000 lbs and are virtually main- tenance free and are impervious to our harsh elements.
Columns are light weight, easy to install and are paintable.
We are so confident in that we back it with a limited lifetime warranty.

When a fiberglass column is not suitable for an application, Roman Columns offers its own line of PVC column wraps. We have invested in the finest milling equipment to produce an array of various column wrap products. These products are easily assembled and offer the same maintenance as a fiberglass column. Columns are made from cellular PVC which offers the advantages of being unaffected by moisture and insects but has the thickness, ease of use, and workability of wood.

Columns are available in all sizes and styles – square or Craftsman – plain, fluted, raised panel, and recessed panel. With all of these options, you are certain to find just the right amount of detail for your specific project. Best of all, the Roman column wraps come with a 25-year limited warranty.
